Harri Weeks is a strategic thinker with a background in policy, network building and systems change in the health, research, education, government and NGO sectors .Gathering and interpreting data and insights, including through stakeholder engagement, she builds actionable Strategies, Theories of Change and Monitoring and Evaluation Frameworks. Informed by best practice from across sectors, Harri balances pragmatism and proactivity, and brings her sociological academic background and experience as an activist to bear on wicked problems.

Harri’s particular focus is on equity, inclusion and justice, and she has been a board-level advisor for the Mayor of London and NHS England, and worked with national and international Unions and NGOs in the areas of LGBTQ+ and gender equality, with a particular focus on trans rights. As a feminist, she takes an approach which seeks to understand, critique, and challenge power relations that affect marginalised groups.

Harri has held various roles at the Wellcome Trust, informing funding strategy and piloting and evaluating approaches to inclusion. She led the research and lobbying body The National LGB&T Partnership for 5 years, and helped design and implement the Athena SWAN Charter for Women in Science. She has led EDI functions in the NHS and designed research review processes at Imperial College London. Outside of paid work, Harri organises wellbeing and embodiment events for trans and queer people in London and Brighton.
